In years past Atlantic Station has been the seasonal headquarters for a retail Halloween store appropriately named, Halloween HQ. Following Z Gallerie shutting its doors last month, the store relocated from the East side of Atlantic Station to the now defunct furniture store. From Spiderman to Little Bo Peep and everything in between you’re sure to find a showstopper for your holiday festivities. Also available to spice up your night are accessories galore and fun props to create your very own look.

Once you’ve committed to a costume, hop on the complimentary Atlantic Station shuttle with service to Arts Center Station. From there, stroll over to Foxtrot Liquor Bar and be part of the Midtown Halloween Block Party. Notorious for serving mesmerizing craft cocktails and delectable, dressed up bar fare, Foxtrot is sure to exceed your traditional Halloween experience. The Block Party is hosted by Atlanta Bar Tours, a company notorious for planning promotional events all over the city with over six hundred on their resume. The party lasts from 7p-2a and includes a costume contest with an impressive $1000.00 grand prize. Tickets range from $22-$30 and include a wristband that waives your cover charge at over 20 establishments as well as drink specials and live music.

If you’re more interested in staying in the comfort of your own neighborhood, Atlantic Station has Halloween covered right at your doorstep. Never to disappoint, Cirque du Soleil has produced another masterfully orchestrated performance with Volta, their latest acrobatic triumph. Bright, vibrant costumes, impressive makeup design, and lighting effects that will leave you in disbelief combine to contribute to the success of this seasonal masterpiece. Tickets start at $49.00 and showtimes vary by day with multiple shows offered on the weekends.

Another festive option is the year-round exhibit that is perhaps more in the spirit of Halloween than a direct nod to the holiday. Bodies, the Exhibition has called Atlantic Station home since its debut over a decade ago. An intimate look into the human anatomy, Bodies allows you to experience inner beauty in a unique way. Polymer preservation is the secret to displaying the full body specimens of Chinese individuals who succumbed to natural causes. The shock factor that the exhibit evokes is designed to encourage guests to take better care of their own bodies.

Expect to have a tough time deciding which path you will choose on Halloween. One thing is certain, Atlantic Station is in the center of it all and is sure not to disappoint for your majestic evening.
